Mr. Deffenbaugh,
First, I would like to apologize for the procrastination in sending this email. We had a death in the family and I'm trying to catch up. This may be redundant as I just sent an email via the Safford RV site, but I wanted to make sure this email went to the right someone.
We had a wonderful service experience at the Thornburg RV location. We had Power Gear jack problems on our 2007 motor coach and the entire service staff, including the Fredericksburg location, was courteous and knowledgeable. I would like to commend Rick Buker as our Service Advisor for his work with Power Gear, our warranty people, and the technicians at Safford RV. His work and courteous manner went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely use Safford RV as our primary service center and will recommend your service locations to others, fellow RVers, and anyone contemplating the purchase of a travel trailer or RV.
Thanks again for your excellent employees,
Gary W

I want Safford RV to know how wonderful your employees are in service. They were all extremely helpful in getting our motor coach serviced. In fact, your entire service center employees are very courteous and knowledgable. We had a very good experience and will recommend your center for service.

Steve, I want to express our absolute appreciation for Safford's outstanding response to our leak issue. I don't use the word outstanding casually, but it is completely appropriate in this instance. You clearly have an exceptional team of employees for which we are sincerely grateful. Please express our thanks to each and everyone of them and yourself. The RV world is full of less than stellar RV service experiences. Safford RV is an exceptional organization and I will make it a point to convey our experience to as many folks as possible. The Internet is a very useful tool for that purpose. You have made a customer for life.

Dear Mr. Gramm;
My journey started in early January when I decided to surprise my husband for his 50th birthday with our very first Travel Trailer. I began my search and soon became very disappointed with several RV sales lots in the local area. I was almost ready to quit when I decided to make the extra drive to Safford RV and that changed everything.
I met Rudy Diaz one of the sales representatives on the lot. I was probably not the best customer off the bat for him, as I was trying to stay discreet and keep my little secret from my husband, so therefore gave no telephone number or last name. I was so pleased with the service that day, and the time Rudy spent with me that within 48 hours, I had made the biggest purchase on wheels without the help of my husband of 24 years of marriage!!!
The second person I met on your team was Steve Deffenbaugh…and what a pleasant surprise that was from the very beginning. He introduced himself to me and said he would make sure they took care of me, and it was sincere and not full of “sales fluff.” We connected as he told me he was retired Air Force and was very professional, yet kind and friendly and mostly, sincere and fair in his promises!
The rest of the story is personal, and that is the part that I think you should know about your staff. Anyone can buy or sell anything, but it’s the commitment to their profession that makes your team stand out. Thru all this, Rudy and the team offered to get me the travel trailer to my home to pull off the surprise for my husband, Bill. If you recall, we had a lot of snow, and the delivery date was February 11th and we still had banks of snow along our streets and down our driveway. Up until the day of delivery, I was sure that no one in their right mind would venture these arrangements considering all the snow, especially since I had already paid and signed for the vehicle. But Rudy did…he spent 2 hours meticulously finding a way to back the 30 foot trailer down my driveway. He was so positive and made a very difficult situation happy. We had to dig out the corners at the top of the driveway and try time after time to get it right. Finally it was safely down the driveway, and Rudy finished the job with a picture of the family. I know this may seem all a bit silly, but it makes the word of mouth sale so much greater! I have told perhaps 50 people about what a wonderful company Safford RV is and just how professional everyone is from the General Manager to the Sales representatives.
We were in the store many times making this all happen, and each and every time we were met with friendly professional people. As we start our journey as “campers” we think of Safford RV as our new family. Thanks for making this a great new beginning for our family.
And by the way, my husband was very pleasantly surprised and it was the greatest day!!!

I just wanted to say thanks SO much for repairing my AC on such short notice. It was a complete surprise Saturday when I found it was not working, and with leaving for a 4 day festival this upcoming weekend and expected hot temperatures, I was worried to say the least. I know service was booked until the middle of June, so I very much appreciate what you did for me. Safford ranks high in my book.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I know I will.

We are looking forward to the maiden voyage of our Gulfstream Visa trailer this weekend. Big thanks to Don Shlifflet and Scott Forbes for making everything happen. Class acts all around at Safford and we'll spread the word that you're the place to go for RV and trailers. We'll be back for the Airstream in a few years when the BBQ money starts rolling in guys!
